A Simpler Two-Step Routine for Clearer Skin
Share
Acne skincare routines have a habit of spiralling into ten steps, none of which quite explain what they're for. We built ClearSkin Protocol to be the opposite of that: two steps, both with a clear job to do.
Why acne is more than a "surface" issue
Inflammatory acne is associated with a combination of factors — excess sebum production, clogged pores, and bacterial activity on the skin. A routine that only addresses the surface (a cleanser, a spot treatment) is working with half the picture. That's the thinking behind pairing a topical product with an oral one in ClearSkin Protocol, rather than relying on topical treatment alone.
What's actually in the two steps
- Topical lotion: applied directly to the skin, aimed at supporting the skin's surface environment.
- Oral formula: taken daily, developed with reference to documented case observations on inflammatory acne.
We want to be specific about that second phrase: "documented case observations" refers to a real physician case series, not a large-scale clinical trial — and we say so plainly rather than dressing it up. You can read the actual document, along with our notes on what it does and doesn't show, on our Clinical Studies & Reports page.
The full routine is:
- 100% natural
- Non-antibiotic, non-retinoid
- Vegan and cruelty-free
Setting realistic expectations
Skin takes time to change, and no product — ours included — works identically for everyone. We'd rather under-promise here: give a routine at least a few weeks of consistent use before judging it, and if you have severe or cystic acne, see a dermatologist rather than relying on any over-the-counter routine alone.
